I really did not think this would gain this much steam when I first typed it out on my lunch break but my phone has been buzzing nonstop and it honestly feels surreal. Seeing everyone talk about how much this firmware tweak would actually change their day to day photography is just wild and it really shows we are not the only ones feeling this specific frustration with the menu system.

If the colour of the focus point is not changed it will be the last Sony camera I buy. The R4 was my next purchase but the file is just to large for everyday shooting. If they had given us raw small I would have bought it and got a focus point that can be seen in bright sunlight. It's such a pity because I generally like the Sony products.
delete I have two A7R3 and the new A7R4. PLEASE ADD COLOR Focus POINTS to my older cameras. It will keep their value in case I sell them to get new products and makes everybody happy.
Its grey....you cant see it.

please please please let us have a colored focusing point on A7R3 - this is a small change that is also an enormous quality of life feature for a camera which was bought new last year
