I have been reading through your messages about how much these profiles change your workflow on other models. It is honestly frustrating to look at the A9 and know that the software capability is just sitting there waiting to be unlocked for us.

I bought the A9 when it came out at first. They told me it would come in a few months with a software update. One year later and we still have not picture profiles.. cmon Sony you can do this :D
Plz bring s log to A9. It would make life of proffesional photographers much easier especialy when working with a number of cameras on set.
Flagship camera with best downsampled 4k - but no PictureProfile to mix footage with other Sonys. Sounds silly, no?
When you want to blend footage from different cameras you NEED Picture Profiles! You can mix up from RX100 to A7RII with good results ... but not with the A9. FIX IT SONY!
I am THIS close to bailing out on my significant investment to Sony (30k in lenses and bodies) over this - Sony, please reverse this horrible choice and bring SLog back to the A9. EVERY MODERN CAMERA HAS A LOG PROFILE. I shoot Log on my iPhone, and even your own $800 RX100. This is insulting and damaging.
Hi Sony, It is truly such a shame that the a9 does not have picture profile. It really limits the potential of the camera as that would've been a perfect addition and worth the cost of the camera

Doesn't make any sense at all to remove picture profiles. This necessitates buyers of a $4000 camera body to buy another one if they want to do professional video. All for a software handicap.
