The school board continues to question the maturity of our students while ignoring the demand for this curriculum. I am sending a formal request today to each trustee to address their doubts about teacher competency directly. Send a quick email to your own district representative now to reinforce that this course belongs in our high schools.

So tired of this school board making choices for everyone. It is an elective course for gods sake. If you dont like it dont take it!
Ridiculous that they think grade 12s can't handle real world topics. They are practically adults and need to know this stuff before heading off to uni.
THEY ARE ALMOST 18. let them study social justice. it is super relevant to the world right now.
Way overdue. Kids pay attention to what happens in the world and they want to talk about it in class. Give them the chance.
My kid wants to take this class. Let them learn. Why is the board so scared of students having an opinion?

The teachers at my school are plenty capable. This is just an excuse to keep things quiet. Very disappointed in the district.
