To Snap Fitness Corporate Office,
We the undersigned Franchisees believe the “30 days for $8.95 promotion” should be optional for the following reasons:
- The program establishes a price for a membership and creates expectations in consumers’ minds;
- It can negatively affect the perceived value of certain clubs;
- There are no "one-size-fits-all" solutions for franchisees;
- Snap Fitness corporate office cannot and has not eliminated ineligible prospects from buying this offer;
- This offer may be valuable for some clubs but extremely detrimental to other clubs;
- The setting of any price for a membership at a local club is in violation of the franchise agreement (sections 6B and 6M). All pricing decisions should be made at the franchise store level.
Accordingly SNAP FITNESS CORPORATE should:
- Immediately remove this offer from the corporate website www.snapfitness.com.
- Continue this promotion on an Opt-In basis only.
- Offer this promotion only on the webpages of clubs that have proactively opted in.
- Clearly state the rules and and have a disclaimer that states "at participating clubs only"
Respectfully,
Snap Fitness Franchisees
Seeing this level of backing from other owners proves that I am not the only one struggling under these mandates. It has been a long road but this momentum gives me the energy to keep pushing forward.

TOTAL NONSENSE. The franchise agreement was clear about local control. Stick to it.

This hurts our reputation. Members expect super cheap deals now and it makes it hard to run a real business.

So tired of corporate making decisions that mess with our bottom line without asking us first.

Stop telling us how to price our own memberships. We know our market better than corporate does.
