The San Marcos School board would like to know how many parents, teachers, and students would like to return to in person learning. WE DO NOT NEED DONATIONS. JUST RESPONSES.
We just hit 500 signatures. Print out the petition page and drop it off at the district office today. Call your board member and tell them the count is rising.

Other nearby public Elementary schools have been open since the beginning of January - there is absolutely no reason our elementary student should have to wait until the very end of February or early March!!

Please open the schools. It is not in the kids best interest to remain in the remote learning environment. Please vaccinate the teachers and get the kids back to school ASAP. Most private schools in CA are up and running without major issues (including Gov Newsom’s own kids). Public schools should open as well.

I am a school psychologist and the social/emotional damage that we are inflicting on our kids is detrimental- I have all ready pulled both my children out of the district and more families will continue to do so- This needs to stop. Kids need to be in school for SO many other reasons than academics-

We pulled our daughter (7) out because we lost faith in our district, but if the district could devise a fully fledged plan, we would put her back in. We truly miss having in person learning and our daughter has suffered as well.

Let them back in school K-12. Let them Play. My kids are suffering in mental health and are behind in school. This current format provides no support for kids with learning disabilities and IEP’s.

My second grade son who is also new to the country is devastated to hear that he still cannot return to school. As a family who completely understands and accepts the risk, please don't let our children suffer any longer.
