We have seen some complaints from owners of small dog breeds and puppies about their dogs getting attacked or mauled by bigger breeds and we are now trying to get Leduc to look into sectioning an area for small dogs and puppies. I truly never imagined that so many people felt the same way about our local parks. Seeing all of this momentum is entirely thanks to the kindness each of you has shown for our small dogs.

I complete agree that these people need a small doggfy park. I own a big dog n i barely use tge doggy park due to aggressive dog in which the owners do nothing about n just continue to keep walking while their dogs go around starting fights with other dogs.
A dog park for small dogs would make me willing to bring my dog (previously attacked and injured by a large dog) back to give a dog park another try.
Would love a small breed park.
Signing in hopes it can be safer for all..
To help prevent injuries or even death because some big dogs don't realize there strength
I have large dogs, but I have no problem with having a fenced off section for smaller dogs and puppies. If I had small dogs, I would go there.
As a Chihuahua owner this is a MUCH needed facility that I would drive to from Edmonton

I would suggest the area in south Suntree. I believe it to be available. Moreover many people would enjoy having a small dog park at this location to accommodate those of us who live on the west side of our city where there is no dog park.
