I would suggest the area in south Suntree. I believe it to be available. Moreover many people would enjoy having a small dog park at this location to accommodate those of us who live on the west side of our city where there is no dog park.

I complete agree that these people need a small doggfy park. I own a big dog n i barely use tge doggy park due to aggressive dog in which the owners do nothing about n just continue to keep walking while their dogs go around starting fights with other dogs.

I have large dogs, but I have no problem with having a fenced off section for smaller dogs and puppies. If I had small dogs, I would go there.

Hello, my name is Merisa Briggs and I vouch to have a small dog park in Leduc, AB.
My baby girl, Belle, a small 6lbs chihuahua pomeranian was killed on Thursday by a Rottweiler at a park in Leduc. I am heartbroken. This is unacceptable.
I know that this sort of incident happens on the rarest of occasions, but for anyone else in Leduc who owns a small dog, I ask that you sign this petition to have this small dog park established in our community.
There, all small dogs could enjoy themselves in a area that would be safe for them.
I am not saying that all big dogs are a threat to other dogs, but when such incidents such as this arise, it makes one think that there would be less chance of this happening again if there were a safe place for out little ones to play.
Please consider this alternative small dog park for our city.
RIP Belle, 2007-2015.

A dog park for small dogs would make me willing to bring my dog (previously attacked and injured by a large dog) back to give a dog park another try.
