Slow the Flow on Woodbine - Petition for Traffic Lights at Woodbine and Milverton
The crosswalk at Woodbine and Milverton is inadequate and is regularly ignored by motorists. We need a permanent set of traffic lights at this intersection to change behaviours, slow motorists down to an acceptable speed and make our community safer for all.
Motorists who do not live in our neighbourhood treat Woodbine Ave like it is the 401. Aggressive drivers regularly exceed the speed limit and run the crosswalk at Woodbine and Milverton Avenues, where many people cross daily. Accidents are frequent and it is only a matter of time before someone who lives or works in our neighbourhood is seriously injured or killed.

I started this because I was worried about my own walk to the bus, but reading your stories has shown me how many of us feel unsafe at this crossing every single day. I am just passing along these concerns to the local council office, but the weight of this effort belongs to everyone who stepped up to sign.

WOODBINE IS A RACE TRACK. FIX IT BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED.
I see people speeding through here every single day while im trying to walk my dog. its terrifying.
