WE FINALLY DID IT AND THE CITY OFFICIALLY APPROVED THE TRAFFIC CALMING SAFETY PLAN FOR STEVENSON LANE!! I AM ABSOLUTELY THRILLED THAT OUR STREET WILL BE SAFE FOR OUR FAMILIES AT LONG LAST!! KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED TO ENSURE THEY FINISH THE INSTALLATION EXACTLY AS PROMISED!!

Please sign this petition to alert our representatives to the need to seriously address the ongoing issues of heavy traffic and excessive speeding on Stevenson Lane. A speed camera hasn't worked nor have two so-called islands on Stevenson. We need real solutions to make our neighborhood, and this stretch of road, safe for our children and families!

my son was hit by a car in 2009. The speed bumps on Dumbarton have worked to slow cars down. We need them on Stevenson too.
It is very difficult to make left hand turn from Stanmore - the 300 block end of Stanmore
Is it not enough evidence that a worker was seriously injured onstevenson while installing the ineffective islands?! Do we need to wait until a child is killed for someone to do something about this?!
It is dangerous trying to pull out of Lanark Rd. onto Stevenson. Blind curve and speeders=trouble.
People treat Stevenson like a highway and it is terrifying to walk the dog. We need speed bumps before someone gets hurt for real.
These roads are very dangerous to cross because of excessive speeds!

I live in Lanark Court and take my life in my own hands everytime I try to turn out onto Stevenson lane!!
