I have finished drafting a formal proposal detailing the lack of local facilities in the southeast and am currently coordinating with a representative from the city planning department to review the site requirements. We are waiting on a response to determine if a formal meeting can be scheduled to present the site assessment.

The growth of this petition has reached a level that warrants formal communication with the local planning department. I am currently drafting a letter to the ward representative to request a meeting regarding site selection for a new facility in the southeast. I will provide an update once I have a confirmed time for a discussion with the city council office.

Living in SE and having to drive all the way downtown is a joke. We need a place for the kids to actually ride without all the drama.
My son loves skating but the current options are just bad. Either way to far or way too expensive. Just build something local already.

100% agree. skateboarding isnt a crime people need to stop treating us like criminals just for wanting a place to skate.
