Callahan, Fl is in desperate need of a Skate Park for the youth & young adults to be able to enjoy. There is a Skate park in Fernandina Beach & also Hilliard which is anywhere from 13-35 miles, & lot of teens do not have means of transportation. Youth, Teens, & Young Adults can't skate on sidewalks, at the play ground, & in local businesses parking lots. This is something that keeps them busy, active & out of TROUBLE! If they had somewhere to skate then there would be less problems with skaters & also they would not be ran out of the local park, parking lots & told not to ride on the sidewalks. There is a small piece of land located by Ewing Park that would be great for a small to medium size skate park for our local skaters!!!
