I support the campaign by David Stewart MSP and Rhoda Grant MSP to seek for the siting of a major function and/or Department of the new Scottish Single Police Force to be based within the confines of the Highlands or Moray. The main aim of this campaign is to allow job creation in relation to Police Support staff and back office functionality, as it is envisaged that current Support Staff roles may be lost with the merger of the current eight Scottish Forces into one.

it makes no sense to put everything in the central belt. we need these jobs up here in the highlands and the area is perfectly capable of handling the work.
