After the sickening display of ignorance and insensitivity from Simon Cowell, April 17th, 2007 on American Idol, there needs to be a public apology made from American Idol, Fox Network, 19 Entertainment, and whoever else is involved with the show. After a contestant expressed his sympathy and worries for the survivors of the Virginia Tech Massacre, Mr. Cowell rolled his eyes and turned away from the stage. This is not acceptable. If the healing process is to begin, someone in the public eye such as Simon should not be allowed to do something so insensitive on television. Sign this petition if you want an apology from Simon Cowell for the rude, uncalled-for way he reacted to Chris Richardson's message about the VT Massacre.
