The feedback from the state department has been non-existent despite my repeated attempts to get them to acknowledge the volume of complaints. It is exhausting to fight for a basic quality of life while the noise continues to rattle our windows every single night. I am still here and pushing for answers regardless of their silence.

The noise is definitely louder than before the expansion. We live north of Valley View and can still hear the noise inside our home not just outside.
I am interested in an investigation and a solution for the increased highway noise caused by the lbj/635 hwy improvement/ development
We live on ridgeoak way and the rush hour and late night traffic is really loud. Especially the motorcycles on Thursday night and the ambulances from Deadman hospital.
The traffic noise of 635 is a quality of life issue. It is intolerable! Residents were totally mislead as to the impact this highway would have on them. The noise problem is unacceptable and must be fixed!
I want the noise to diminish but i am not convinced taking the grooves away is the answer. As i understand it the grooves are to help the tires grip the road.
I am between Webb Chapel and Josey and we don't have a soundwall!!
Would like to be able to enjoy our backyard more without the roar of LBJ

I can certainly says I can hear a lot more noise from I-635 and I live a mile south.
