Reduce Dangerous Traffic and Create Sidewalks in Northtown, Grand Priairie, Texas
URGENT:
We respectfully petition the City of Grand Prairie and related governing bodies to reduce dangerous traffic in the area of Northtown by taking measures to reduce speed of vehicles and excessive noise of vehicles on Egyptian Way, British Blvd, Duncan Perry Road and Danish Drive.
We suggest some/all of the following measures:
- Installation of traffic lights
- Use of a speed camera warning system
- Installation of speed bumps
- Police monitoring of vehicle noise, speed and compliance with posted stop signs and speed limits
- Installation of sidewalks for pedestrian safety
Local residence have complained publicly (both on apps such as Next Door and at public events) about the noise and dangerous traffic on these streets.
Again, we respectfully request your assistance in ensuring safety of the the residents in this area.

Seeing this momentum grow proves I am not the only one terrified to walk along Egyptian Way with my own children. We have reached a point where the city can no longer pretend these roads are safe for the families living here.

in addition, on street parking in neighboorhoods should be limited to 2 vehicles per house!!
Speed bumps and sidewalks are HIGHLY desired for the safety of our residents, and would immeasurably add to the quality of life in this area.

Please make this residential area safer from traffic dangers and nuisances.
Too many actually spend down to many residential streets around us.
We have this speeding problem on Roman too during the night and gun shots in the park on Hill st

NW 7th street has become a very dangerous road to live on. There are so many young kids who live and ride bikes throughout this neighborhood that need to feel a since of safety when doing so.
