We the people of Hildale/Colorado City extend a invitation to the governors of great States of Utah and Arizona, to join the 4th of july celebration in Colorado City at the CottonWood Park, July 2nd 2016.
With this New Year, there is a bright future for our communities. The 4th of July in 2015 was amazing because of your response, dedication and participation. Let's make the 2016 4th of July even more memorable.
We wanted to get an early start this year so we can be well prepared. Our goal is to welcome everyone, no exclusions. Please be considerate by dressing modestly. Bring your kindness and friendship and let’s make this another memorable day of FREEDOM in this community and great country.
The celebration will be Saturday July 2nd, to accommodate the governor's return for their community events.
The breakfast will be free but the afternoon concessions will be available for a nominal fee.
We are excited about this year's celebration,reconnecting with friends, family and outside communities.
Lets make 2016 celebration a fun and exciting memory for everyone!

The emails I receive from those of you planning to drive here are heavy with meaning. It is exhausting to coordinate such an open event when so much divides us. I am pushing forward because we deserve this moment to gather in peace.

Reaching this point has been a long and exhausting process but seeing this level of interest keeps me going. It is clear that people truly want to see our communities come together for this celebration.

I love this! If our fellow ex-crickers can keep these events family friendly ....then me and my family will be there!
I came last year and had a great time connecting with old friends. I am coming again this year. I am from Bountiful B.C. Canada.
I was born in hildale Utah I am coming to this this event for sure I live in Missouri and I will be bringing my wife and eight children
Great job! The Governors of both states really need to participate in bringing Short Creek into the rest of America!
As a lifetime member of this community, I love seeing the community spirit returning.

This is a good way to put livelihood back into a community that needs it dearly.
