Yorktown Western Days is in danger of being fenced in!
Western Days has been a treasured community event that is free to the public for more than 50 years. Now the Western Days Association will vote to change that!
A concerned group of citizens has joined together in an effort to SAVE WESTERN DAYS by persuading the Association to accept public input and return the focus of Western Days to the community. Please, join us and sign this petition below.
Community input is critical! Voice your support for:
1. NO FENCES around Western Days
2. Keeping the festival fun-sized for a small town
3. Lower beer prices
4. The cookers returned to their original places in the park
5. The Ziegfest name removed from the event
Your signature and comment will be printed and hand delivered to the Western Days Association board members as well as emailed. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Your attendance at the next WD Assoc. meeting is encouraged.

Keep it public!! Everything is getting to be so expensive these days. Let us have this one thing.
I have gone to this every single year since I was little. It wont be the same if they start charging us. Bad idea.

Yorktown wouldnt be yorktown without western days. Leave it alone!!!!
Western days has been around forever. My kids grew up going to this. dont take it away from the town!!!
