We, the undersigned residents of Sage, respectfully request that the county of Riverside install a Sheriff substation in our area. Due to the large increase in number of residents here and slow response rate (due to long distance travel time) and a lack of 24 hr. police patrolling presence, we have been experiencing an increase of both reported and unreported criminal activity. Our tax dollars do not bring in the benefits of many of those in urban areas (such as sidewalks, streetlights, curbs, sewers, and piped in water). So it is more than reasonable that we can at least expect an equitable amount of professional police protection to that tantamount to the rest of Riverside county. We Thank You for interest and hopeful support in the urgent matter.

I HAVE BEEN HEARING SO MANY FRUSTRATING STORIES FROM NEIGHBORS ABOUT THE RESPONSE TIMES LATELY!! WE DESERVE ACTUAL PROTECTION AND PROMPT SERVICE IN OUR COMMUNITY RIGHT NOW!! THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE NEED TO REALIZE THAT OUR SAFETY IS NOT OPTIONAL!!

This area requires a bigger presence and a quicker response time. Crime is increasing and the crimes are worst in nature, which puts the good citizens in a state of panic and the high alert. This state may cause them to have to protect themselves, family, and other in an act that will change their lifes and may end the life of the thief or thieves and in a worst case scenario end the life of an innocent person who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. An increase in police may prevent this from happening.
Or in Anza. Someplace so it's not an hour before a dispatched Deputy shows up.
We have put up with a lot. Trespassing, illegal dumpng, the pot farms and thats not counting the thefts and breakins. Please put our tax dollars to work for us
With spotty cell service there needs to be access in the event of an emergency. Unfortunately, many non-locals, have been coming out here and vandalizing, stealing, and making our community unsafe.
We have had our house broken into and called ahead when the neighbors noticed the gate open by the time to police came they finished breaking in a left....
Sage and Aguanga need this tremendously.

We need this so badly! Once when a man who had previously threatened my family trespassed onto my property and tried to break into my home where I was alone with my 4 young children I called 911 and the police did not show up until two days later!!! Thank God that the man was too drunk to think of coming in the window and wire himself out trying to break down my metal laundry room door. I do not feel protected here at all. The response time is a joke.
