I am a former Marine and close friend of a team member who was very involved in Red Wings. I also know someone who knew Shane from High School. God Bless

I think the Shane Patton statue should be in a place that locals and tourists go like bicentennial park. We have many tours that drive through Boulder City and talk about the turbine of Hoover Dam. The statue can also be a focal point of our towns American Hero. Navy seal Shane Patton who lost his life during war.
Boulder needs to step it up and approve this already. How can Shane be the only hero from Operations Red Wings WITHOUT a statue in his home town
This hero gave his life for our freedoms. His statue deserves to be placed in Wilbur square as an example to show all visitors who come to Boulder City’s events that hard work, dedication, and caring for your fellows is what we all are about here in our great little town.
Lets make this statue happen in Boulder City!

I live in Las Vegas and my Daughter’s Father is former Navy SEAL Rob Guzzo (BUD/s class 251; Team 5) He passed away on November 12, 2012. As a local to the Las Vegas area and as my own Father is buried in Boulder City at the Veterans Memorial, I am always here to support.
