Since Texas Roadhouse opened its doors in 1993 has become famous for its hand-cut steaks, falloff-the-bone
ribs, and fresh-baked bread. Texas Roadhouse provides Southern hospitality and country comfort food at more than 430 locations in 49 states and five international locations in the Middle East.
Along with its excellent entrees, the restaurant serves mouth-watering side like Fried Pickles, Rattlesnake Bites (fried jalapeños), Boneless Buffalo Wings, Cheese Fries, Tater Skins, and more. But Southern diners may notice one staple of Southern food missing: Fried Okra.
In an effort to draw attention to this glaring oversight and persuade the management of Texas Roadhouse to correct his error, this partition is offered as a means to show our support for adding fried okra to the menu at Texas Roadhouse!
We've confirmed that their food distributor, Sysco, carried multiple kinds of fried okra that can be frozen, quickly thawed out, and deep fried exactly like other sides they're already frying.
So... fried okra is a Southern, traditional comfort food... it's costs about the same as comparable sides... it's easy to make... it's available through their current distributor... it's a no-brainer: Texas Roadhouse needs to serve fried okra!
