Attention local community of Gretna, VA and surrounding areas! This here is a petition to ask the great return of Jack's Steakhouse! If you remember the satisfying smell and taste of that gravy-covered hamburger steak....the green beans and boiled potatoes....the salad bar with the wooden bowls and so much more....then you MUST sign this petition to encourage the return of this great restaurant that holds dear to so many childhood memories in the Gretna community!
***Note: This is NOT the Jack's Quick Snack (which is still open)! We are talking about the Steakhouse that used to be on the other side of the building where you could go sit down and eat a buffet and salad bar! This doesn't guarantee the return, but hopefully if we show enough interest and make enough noise, maybe we can put it into consideration to bring it back!

Seeing this much energy behind the memory of the steakhouse is heavy but it keeps me moving forward. It is clear that I am not the only one who misses that place and I am digging in deeper to make sure they hear us.

I remember going there regularly as a child. I only ate the little round potatoes, like my whole plate was full of them!
Them dang wooden bowls were my favorite!!! Gretna needs Jacks Steakhouse!! Do it for our town!
I would love to see Jack's restaurant reopen. It would be great to have more restaurant choices in Gretna!
This is where my first real job was. My family got steaks from there every weekend.
I miss this place and we need a little piece of old school Gretna back! Please bring back that buffet Jack!!!!! =o)
Been wishing they would open that back up for years!

Would love to have it back I worked there my senior year in high school and I had a ball and the business was good.... Hopefully it will come back
