After the recent break-ins to student automobiles in several parking lots on campus, it is pressing that Mount Union equips its parking lots with security cameras in order to apprehend the thief. This is not the first year this has occurred, and the security of both Mount Union's students and their possessions should be of utmost importance.

I have spent the last few days talking with students who are terrified to leave their cars alone while they attend class. Your stories confirm that this is a persistent danger we can no longer ignore. I am currently working to organize a formal discussion with campus administration to demand better safety measures for our property.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only one who feels unsafe walking to my car after a long day of classes. We have built so much momentum and it is clear that the administration can no longer brush our concerns aside.

My window was smashed last week and I lost so much stuff. We really need cameras in the lots because this is getting out of hand.
its ridiculous that nothing gets done until someone loses property. cameras are standard now cmon mount
This has been a HUGE issue not having cameras because all of the break ins, we need the safety and assurance of cameras!
I live four hours away from campus so having a car is a nessesity. I want to feel safe and secure about my possessions and my vehicle.
This has been occurring the past couple years here at Mount. It's about time something should be done to try to prevent future occurrences.
My car got broken into on September 16th.
