We need REAL security guards and security cameras!!!

Here at the Vue on Macgregor, there have been several car break-ins every weekend for going on over a month now. There have been well over 40+ victims, and it's time for this to stop! Management refuses to take ANY action to help protect their residents. If they would just install security cameras or personell in the parking garage that we PAY to park in, this could all be stopped!! The lease claims we have "24/7 security".. Where are they? It has become safer to park on the street, which is unacceptable.

SIGN THIS PETITION TO CONVINCE MANAGEMENT TO GIVE US SECURITY CAMERAS AND MAKE THE "SECURITY OFFICERS" DO THEIR JOB!

I never thought I would see this much traction on something I typed out in total frustration after finding more shattered glass on the concrete. Reading through the comments makes me realize that we are finally being heard even if management is still acting like they are blind to the mess in our own garage.

Please share and sign this! My roommate's car, along with about a dozen others, had their windows busted and cars broken into over the last 48 hours. I'm paying too much to be living in fear that my car will be next.

This is one of the reasons that the service of the vue is subpar. If they even had cameras they would be able to give an explaination but at this point the Vue's actions are purely negligent.

Yeah I was told we would get cameras when I first moved in... this is going on year 2. Since then, someone has attempted to break into my apartment and the complex has become less valuable due to guest/resident vandalism.

My car was broken into April 15th and I had no idea this was a weekly thing. Management doesn't even go as far as notifying the residents that they at least acknowledge the problem. I'd rather park on the street at this point. Not renewing my lease.

This is actually ridiculous. Fix this now. I'm not renewing my lease and actively telling my peers to not live here. Literally 12 cars were broken into on April 15th on the 5th floor in one night.

My daughter's safety is at risk. Surveillance cameras are very inexpensive these days, especially considering the prices of the rent and parking. The apartments have a moral and ethical responsibility to ensure the safety of their residents to do all they can. Installing security cameras is the very least they can do.

I had my car broken into on the 5th floor! The criminals had plenty of time to escape if they were vandalizing and looting on the 5th floor!

I am so tired of the Vue these constant break ins are the last straw. I've had to deal with derogatory and racial comments carved into my door, those same comments carved all into the elevator that have been there for MONTHS and still have not been fixed! I mention that to them constantly. I am tired of getting on the elevator and seeing F**K N****RS etched on the doors. They illegally towed my guests car (I had proof that the car had its proper parking permit and in the correct location) and the excuse they gave was that the person who towed the car thought the pass was "fake" and management claimed that based on the (blurry and indescribable) picture he took they couldn't verify if the date written on the pass was accurate or not. They tried to say they would take off some of the costs of the tow instead of at first admitting they were in the wrong and releasing the car right away. Every time I showed evidence of how they were in the wrong, management pulled another excuse out of thin air to try to shift blame back to us to save themselves. Another cool and disturbing thing is one time a friend showed me how easy it is to get past these automatic key locks on our front doors. All you need is some type of credit card, gift card. Etc and you shimmy it around next to the lock between the door and door frame and it opens. He did this when he locked himself out his room. There is also always a broken entrance somewhere around this complex where you can just walk right in. The last funniest thing about this complex is that now, if you make a call about a roommate complaint for noise or weed or anything etc. everyone who is home gets fined instead of just the person who is doing the offense! I never wanted to stay here in the first place but it was a last resort option, now I'm wishing I just stayed on campus in the dorms
