The school finally confirmed that our seniors will walk across that stage together. Seeing how hard the kids fought for this moment makes every bit of the effort worth it. I am relieved that they get the closure they earned.

Aloha Class of 2020 Supporters!

We are urgently asking for your support to continue to ask for an in-person graduation for the Seabury Hall Class of 2020. To be in compliance with the County outdoor gathering regulation of 100 or less, it would have to be only the students, our 75 seniors under 1 tent, graduating with as much tradition as will be allowed.

Our seniors have endured more in their senior year than any class before them and we want to give them what they are asking for, and so richly deserve, the chance to graduate together with their classmates.

The graduation would be live streamed so we would not miss it, we would all be there in spirit, just watching remotely.

Please sign the petition, please sign now, to show the Seabury Hall administration how important this ceremony is to seniors and our community.

Mahalo your support!

We just hit five hundred signatures for our seniors. Seeing this many people acknowledge what these students have lost keeps me going.

Seeing the momentum grow for our seniors is incredibly moving and hits home for every family missing these final milestones. We are just shy of five hundred signatures so please blast this link out to reach that goal before the school board gathers to finalize their plan.

I have been reading through the comments you all left and my heart breaks for these seniors who just want one final moment together on campus. I am currently reaching out to the administration to explain that this small ceremony could happen safely while following all the local health guidelines.

This graduation is well deserved represents the closure of an important chapter in an adolescent's life. We do not have more information than the State of Hawaii on Covid19. So if gatherings of 100 people is allowed, then we should not assume to know better.

Our greatest wish is for the 8th Frampton family member to attend this school, to be allowed to graduate with his class like all of those before him. Go Gabe! Go Class of 2020! You are a truly special group of individuals and we love and support you always!

Others have been carrying out safe graduation ceremonies to provide their seniors celebration of their accomplishments and sense of closure. There must be a way to do this for our relatively smaller group of seniors while still keeping everyone healthy.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. With safety guidelines in place, let these sweet kids have one last hurrah and remember leaving high school on a POSITIVE (but not Covid positive!) note!!! Safe doesn’t mean impossible. Let’s make it happen!

Please allow the 2020 graduates of Seabury Hall to graduate together under the tent. The ohana of the graduates can be watching from a safe distance. It was devastating to receive news that graduation was canceled at the drop of a hat after waiting in limbo for a couple of months.

If Seabury Hall is already allowing another similar sized event to take place on August 1, then there really is no logical rationale what our kids are being denied an in-person graduation. The school should take care of its own first!

Please have the in-person graduation. The students definitely deserve this memorable event!
