James was always good to me and my brother. We played ball there in the sixties and seventies my father coached there . James made Scott Park a place to be.

James Foisia was a mentor to a lot of us. He helped us with summer jobs, supplied us with our needs for sports. He also had free lunch program for kids in need and the kids who stayed and participated in programs through out the day. Thank You James Foisia.

The most deserving City of Carson resident and employee to have a park renamed after. Scott Park has always been remembered as James Foisia’s park. He made a lasting impression with children, youth, and parents. It would be a wonderful way to celebrate Carson’s 50th anniversary as a city.

The most influential individual that helped our community in the City of Carson. I grew up in Carson from elementary to Carson High School. There is so many lives that this man has influenced in a positive manner. I support 100% renaming Scott Park to James Foisia Park.

To honor a man who ALWAYS put others needs ahead of his own and guided, mentored and changed the directions of the young ones who passed through his world. Scott Park was always Jame's ... about time the signage was changed to the name of a man who truly was an asset to his community and one we were priveledged to call friend.

My Uncle James is a great man & if it wasn't for him I would've never learned good work ethic & hard work always pays off literally. I know first hand what one man can do because I seen it in all the amazing work and way he helped all the families through lark activities and sports. The most dedicated, amazing gentle giant my Uncle James.
