The school board is still dragging their feet and ignoring the clear desire of this community to honor Jack Long. I am spending my time digging through public records to expose exactly why they are refusing to acknowledge someone who has done more for our students than the entire board combined.

They just broke ground on a new school on upper Citrus Ave would be perfect for naming in his memory .
I nomination of Jack Long for the naming of school in the city of Fontana in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Fontana Unified School District, Fontana School Police, and the city of Fontana. His unwavering dedication should be acknowledged.
Jack was the most giving person that I’ve ever met and that was evidenced by his continual support of our kids and our community.
He helped me educate the community around sickle cell trait. Especially the ability to reach the schools where this knowledge is missing.
John "Jack" Long is a Pillar to the community. He selflessly gave tremendously to hundreds. If not thousands of family's throughout his last years of life. Even after death, his legacy lives on and continues to give to more families and His community he loves so dearly.

Jack long is responsible for getting the Socal Trojans the money to start our organization for the kids. His memory is important because he did so much for the youth in Fontana.
