WF Goat Scooters, LLC is a local business in Wichita Falls, Texas that is trying to obtain permission from the City to allow us to operate in the historical Downtown area. We are an E-Scooter rental business that is wanting to give people the opportunity to explore downtown Wichita Falls and commute to local businesses in the area via scooters. Our E-Scooter business is made for smaller cities. Our scooters will be put out and picked up daily. We will have racks where rides can only be started and finished at, this ensures the scooters will be out of the way of foot traffic. Our scooters are GPS tracked and have a geofence that only allows users to ride them in the areas we geofence. This ensures the scooters will not be in restricted areas. We have a Goat Scooter app that allows for people to find scooters in the area and how/where to start and finish each ride. We have been trying to work and obtain permission from the city the past couple of months to operate and have not had much movement or progress. We ask that you can support WF Goat Scooters by signing this petition. We are hopeful that your signature will help us demonstrate that e-scooters will be successful in the downtown Wichita Falls area. I think this would be great for downtown! I think they would be great for the circle trail, too.
Electric scooters would attract more people to enjoy the downtown area, including me. Some nice revenues and new jobs.
Scooters down town will be a really great value add to Wichita Falls. Scooters in places like downtown Bryan Texas draws consumers that will help business and only add to the experience! PASS PASS PASS
