On March 14 at 10:00 a.m. schools across the nation will be walking out of class for 17 minutes in honor of the 17 lives lost at the school shooting in Stoneman Douglas High. Green Brook Middle School should participate in this event to stand up and speak out. Let's show that the lives lost were not for nothing but helped spark a movement for change. After all no student should have to fear coming to school. This event will be student-led.
