Vermont Students should be able to walkout in memory of the Columbine shootings that occurred almost 19 years ago.Since then, school gun violence has only risen, and our walkout is our voice. If we don't take charge now and show our government, both state and national, that we are unified in the fight against gun violence and if we don't take our stand now, countless generations for years to come will be subjected to the violence that our generation has come to live through. #EnoughIsEnough stop gun violence. YOUR WALKOUT IS YOUR VOICE.

Seeing this sustain momentum despite the exhaustion of these past weeks reminds me why we started. It has been a heavy road but the scale of this response proves we are not alone in seeking change.

My kids deserve to go to school without being scared. Do something about it already.

We need metal detectors in EVERY single school in America. Every one. We need to DO SOMETHING other than sell big guns
We wouldn’t have as much gun violence in schools if we reformed our systems so that students didn’t face as much stress. The public schooling system is part of the problem. American High school students now have the same rates of depression as people in mental health centres in the 60s.
Schools should be safe places but they dont feel like it anymore. walk out and make them listen
