I have been hearing from so many of you who feel trapped by these rigid dress codes every single morning. It hurts to know so many students feel they cannot be authentic in the hallways because of these rules.

Seeing this grow makes me think of all the times I felt restricted by those old uniform rules. The movement toward giving students the freedom to just be themselves is gaining real steam now.

There so stupid, girls should b allowed to wear what they feel comfortable in. They make such a big deal out of u being ur self and what makes u feel good. And some people may not b as fortunate as others and might not b able to afford uniform as the skirts are like £16 and you can get non school uniform ones for like £3. People are getting told off for not wearing something they feel confident an comfortable in or something they can’t afford, it’s so pathetic!!!!!

The skirts are very uncomfortable and we don’t look smart in them because they are so flat and stiff and just not nice to wear.

I think we should somehow be able to express ourselves at the school with different colour hair, piercings and whatever as it's not effecting our learning. Last thing we need is a teacher on our case because we haven't paid £10 extra for a crappy logo.

Finally some action. We need to Ben free to express ourselves and not feel insecure. Those skirts are like no other, they just go straight down and are not flatteringly or anything at all. They say that we have to wear uniform to look smart but those skirts look so bad and we look better in more fitting pencil skirts. If we cant wear our own skirts then they should at least change the skirts. Like honestly.

I feel free that students should feel free and comfortable in there own clothes , isn't it enough that we where logo blazers and ties? Students would feel more happy about coming ti school if they have there own skirts.
