this price increase is extreme and is getting out of control. Every year this goes up and on top of a £98 council tax we pay its a lot of money.

If we do nothing about the rise this year, what is stopping them increasing it again next year by another 20%?

The price increase is not acceptable, yes the quality of service needs to improve as has been poor, and I am please they are acknowledging this, however with this in mind we then should in fact have a refun for the poor service over the last few years!
