Change SC's curriculum to be more inclusive for Transgender individuals
It is my goal with this petition to change the curriculum in SC, starting with my own, Lexington 1, to be more inclusive about Transgender individuals. I believe at an Elementary School level children should be educated about what it means to be Transgender and why it is perfectly okay and natural if they do not feel like the gender they're assigned at birth. I will be showing the results of this petition to Lexington County School District One along with a letter in my efforts to get the curriculum changed. Thank you

kids are already seeing this stuff online anyways, why not teach them the truth in school so they learn respect early on? it really isn't that hard to be kind.
