The United States lacks education about transgender issues and rights. Sign our petition to ensure that your name will be shown to Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill in an effort to pass pro-trans legislation. Our goal is to make HRT and GRS more accessible and affordable for all.

For clarification, this petition will NOT be in favor of non-dysphoric trans people planning to transition; this is due to urgency. This petition's purpose is to aid dysphoric trans people in getting access to life-saving medical resources to help them overcome dysphoria. Gender dysphoria contributes to thousands of trans people committing suicide each year, and many trans people are unable to get access to medical resources due to cost and other obstacles.

Our petition aims to advocate for less-expensive GRS and HRT, as well as advocating for the removal of unnecessary gatekeeping, such as extended wait times for certain treatments and/or insurance refusing to cover them, which can worsen crippling dysphoria for transgender patients in need of resources.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained lately. This movement belongs entirely to the people who took the time to read the words and put their names behind this cause.

I've had to talk down many people who were planning on committing suicide due to dysphoria. If this can help those with minimum resources to get to the medical care they need to transition, then I'm all for any legislation that doesn't reprimand anyone trans-individual that needs help.

The costs are just insane right now. People are hurting and the system is broken.

Too many friends lost to this stuff already. Glad someone is actually doing something about it.

Finally some logic. Insurance companies dont get to decide who lives or dies.
