I think we can all agree that the Warren gates in Stonebriar Park have been a problem. I appreciate the new board working to obtain a solution so that our gates are working properly and that we minimize our cost for repairs. However, I completely disagree with the new exit rules for Warren. It states you must have a working and registered toll tag to EXIT Warren. There is no reason visitors should not be able to exit through the Warren gates. They have already been given access to the neighborhood. They are merely trying to leave and this does not pose a threat to security. What it does mean is that any resident trying to leave when the toll tag readers are not working will not be able to exit either. This very situation has happened numerous times already. Once Frisco schools start this will become even more of a headache. When signing this petition, you are agreeing that all residents AND guests should be able to EXIT the Warren gate from our neighborhood. In other words, any vehicle that pulls up to the Warren EXIT gates should be able to activate the barrier arms to open and exit. This does not apply to entering through the Warren gates.
