All Heatherbrook Residents:

By signing this petition, you agree the Heatherbrook HOA should use its yearly funds to professionally treat the common areas (greenbelts, pool area, common area block walls) for pest control.... especially the bark scorpions which live freely in our community block walls.

Thank you for your support!

If you look around the common areas of the Heatherbrook housing community, you will see all types of bugs, crickets, ants, cockroaches and especially the potentially deadly bark scorpion living in the grass and common area block walls. In the recent past, the Heatherbrook HOA Board voted down, 4-1, a motion to pay a company to better control the infestation problems of the community as a whole. Me, being a resident with a two- 2-year-old twin boys and a history of scorpion problems in this community, am fed up.

Of course we are all responsible for our own pest control for our homes... but it seems to me the HOA should be held to the same standard. I have learned that the surrounding farming areas flood their yards... driving insects and scorpions to our community. In my opinion, it is time (and a no-brainer) that the HOA should use part of our yearly funds to treat our community as a a whole.

I have contacted Green Mango Pest control and for around $75 a month, they will treat all of our bug problems and especially focus on ridding our area of bark scorpions as much as possible ... especially in the common block walls.

Whether we use Green Mango or not, by signing this petition you are agreeing that the Heatherbrook HOA should use HOA funds to professionally treat our near-infestation problems, especially scorpions.

Thanks
