OPTUS are constructing a 30m phone tower on Grandview Road Pullenvale,100m away from the iconic Pullenvale Hall and directly next to four residential family properties. OPTUS have undertaken NO RESIDENTIAL OR COMMUNITY CONSULTATION! They have contractors working quickly over the Easter Break with the foundations constructed on Friday 6th & Saturday 7th April. The tower has been delivered and waiting construction! Residences were blocked access to their properties on Friday while the trucks moved in ripping up their private access road.

We need your help to stop this tower. OPTUS has shown astonishing arrogance, an incredible level of unethical behavior and an unbelievable disrespect for the families of our beautiful Pullenvale Community. This will cause irreparable damage to the reputation of OPTUS.

The antennas have to go somewhere and by and large the tops of hills and ridges makes most sense. I emphasise with those living in the immediate vicinity but also recognise the need and the right for infrastructure providers to install essential equipment. Perhaps Optus could disguise it as a Bunya Pine or something similar.

I object to the Optus tower construction on Grandview Road at Pullenvale. This is occuring without community consultation and will affect the aesthetics of the area as well as pose potential health impacts.

Sneaky Oputs have tried to fast track construction with no community consultation. There is a shared tower less than 1km away please consider using the tower that already exists.

OPTUS is completely out of line. Respect the community and their choice first, before bullying your way in.

I disagree with a tower.

How have OPTUS managed to get approval for this without consultation with Pullenvale residents? We don't want this eyesore in our beautiful landscape and shame on OPTUS for their lack of respect shown to locals and our environment!
