Worthing Council has applied itself to build more beach huts along our seafront - 58 for the first phase. For each new beach hut there are more blocked views, less sight of the beautiful sea, the beach at low tide, the light on the water, the horizon. The open, mostly unspoilt views of the seafront make Worthing special and different. For each new beach hut, the loss to the public will be year round and forever! While those who have use of the beach huts will have the very front row view which they have taken from us, our children and our grandchildren. Most of the benches on the promenade are dedicated to those who have enjoyed the view. Please don't close us off, block us out or separate us from the seafront. We come to Worthing to see the sea - not the back of more beach huts. We the undersigned say "No more beach huts along Worthing seafront"
