It is part of the Swale Site of Special Scientific Interest, a protected Open Space and lies within the Whitstable Conservation Area.

The days of coordinating this effort are long and my patience is thin. We are nearing one hundred signatures and we need to push just a little further to force the council to look our way.

Just leave our beach alone. Why do they think they need to build everywhere?
Keep the beach natural. We have enough restaurants in town already we dont need to ruin the view.
So much for a conservation area. Once you let them build one thing they will never stop.
Totally disagree with this plan. The natural beauty is what makes Whitstable special. Say no to this greedy development.

Used to come here as a kid. Dont build on it. It will change the feel of the whole place forever.
