Florida's legislature is meeting on 5/17/2021 to pass the largest gambling expansion proposal in the history of the State of Florida. All this without the vote of the people as required in the Florida Constitution. The proposed gambling compact will:
- Violate State and Federal Law
- Ignore the Will of the People
- Create the Largest Expansion of Gambling in State History
This proposed gambling compact is:
- Bad for Law Enforcement
- Bad for Florida's Economy
- Bad for Floridians
Tell you legislators do not support this bad proposal.

The legislative deadline looms and the exhaustion is setting in for all of us. I need you to push this forward right now because hitting two hundred and fifty signatures is the only way we keep our position visible before they finalize this deal.

Every other state that expanded gambling has paid a terrible price (mostly on the taxpayers backs) in thinking doing so will help solve revenue problems - it doesn't. It makes things worse. Also, the voters of this state approved a constitutional amendment to prevent this very thing from happe ing...please don't do it!
Expanded gambling. Will only increase crime. Gambling is an activity that has devastated individuals and families. It is bad policy to increase it. Do not allow this or make deals with any group to expand or financially benefit from this burden on society.
We have a constitutional adm that says the voters not the politicians make the decisions. We the voters oppose the expansion of gambling.
This is a critically destructive choice for Florida, for our families, children, law enforcement, and economy. Look at the human casualties gambling brought to other states. Say NO to gambling and yes to a healthy Florida.
This only creates irresponsibility in our citizens. Gamblers for the most part have what would be called an addiction. They poorly spend money, deprive their own families of things they need and it opens the door to far more criminal activity.
