Hey fellow Boeretangers!
I spoke, to the Surinamese guy, Lando Gagoe, who cleans our dorms. The people who employ him want to fire him. They say that he does not clean well enough. Many of us think that he does a good, respectable job. He cleans the communal kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, corridors, etc. in buildings 203, 202, the studios and the villa, and he cleans all of that by himself, Monday to Friday. This can be a lot of work, considering how we leave the kitchens and dorms, especially after parties and weekends. We can try help him keep his job by signing this petition, which I will present to the relevant parties after.

Mr. Lando takes his job seriously. I feel that it is unfair for him to lose his job because I have know him for almost a year now and I know for sure that he carries out his janitorial duties real good.
I totally subscribe. considering the amount of dirt that accumulates in the communal areas, Mr. Gagoe does an excellent job
I have witnessed him many times during his cleaning time. Both at these cleaning moments and after I came back from work in the evening: I found a wonderful job by him with all clean places.
I think that the guy who cleans up copes well with his work, and I go to the hostel from time to time, when I come to Nuklela. After his cleaning, everything is clean and bright. And I think that it would be bad if it will not be on such a necessary for all of us work.
He is doing a great job (despite some people's rather poor hygiene). Do not fire him!
I think he is cleaning ok, he should stay

He does a very good job, but we are there ones not helping him. When he cleans the place, after 30minutes maximum we dirty it as if he did not clean. Please, let us help put the place in order. I don't think that we can really do what he does every day. If we were the ones to clean, the truth is that we will give up. I think that they should instead add his salary for the good job.
