Please sign to tell governent officials that residents of Isle of Palms and those who visit the island should not be asked to co-exist with coyotes. These animals are a threat to our way of life. Government officials need to find a solution and implement it NOW before more of us lose part of our families, our pets. Government officials cannot wait until an adult or child is injured or killed before they enact a plan to rid Isle of Palms of these dangerous animals.
I have read the informative article about coyotes. It pretty much confirmed my feelings about them. Like wild dogs, they travel in packs when there is a significant number and that is when the situation will get out of control. They are already getting bolder with sightings during the day and don't think I should have fears walking in my own neighborhood. This is not their natural habitat, and they should be removed ASAP. Animal rights activists will scream about destroying them, but give no thought to animals already being decimated by them, example deer & turtle nests, and don't even mention pets & real danger to children
