The city of Sherman has sent a letter stating they are considering annexation of Carriage Estates, Carriage Circle Road, Lamberth Road and Shady Oaks Lane. They are offering improved water systems and solid waste disposal. They will also eventually improve roads which means cutting into existing lawns to create those roads. We each spent thousands of dollars to add septic systems to our property a couple of years ago when we were told we could not continue with our setup. We have a water company and a waste disposal company.

We love our country living and do not want to fall under the guidelines and rules of a city. We love to build bonfires, pop firecrackers, shoot targets, park our RVs next to our homes. These things and more will be lost if we come under the city rules.
