We, as the residents of the 9 ,560 acres in Bexar Co., Tx, located north of NW Loop1604, extending to areas on the east and west sides of I10 West, and south of the Kendall County line area oppose the City of San Antonio Annexation of said areas. As such residents, we have willfully moved outside of the city of San Antonio limits intentionally. As a result of said decision, we incur higher living, commuting, and goods costs. The proposed Annexation would in fact be raising our costs again thru taxation without benefitting our community. As said residents, we collectively and individually oppose the City of San Antonio's Annexation proposal. Thank you considering our opposition. We do not want to be annexed by San Antonio. There is not Enough police in San Antonio to respond to calls in the city now. This will bring delayed response times to our area and that is a great concern for me.
There is no benefit to the residents of Napa Oaks to be annexed by the City of San Antonio. We will not receive any increase in benefits or services. The only change we will see is $2000 to $3000 a year in increased taxes. Can you please explain how this annexation will benefit us?
I am completley opposed to this whole Annexation. In fact, if this goes through I will be forced to sell my house. I am a single mom putting my daughter through college and WILL NOT support a 14,000 or more per year tax on MY property.
This is a strategically targeted annexation designed only to increase city revenues. Nearly all properties being annexed are gaited communities meaning no additional cost to the city and no benefit to those being annexed and taxed.
I oppose annexation because as a senior citizen, retired on a fixed income, I do not want to pay anymore taxes than what I am already paying, which is over $3,700. Please do not annex Walnut Pass!

My family and I chose to live in this area, with the longer commute and the higher cost of living, purposely. Annexation would add to this cost creating an unnecessary financial burden to a group of people who do not want to be annexed. This move by the city is unfair and arbitrary. No to annexation!
