Manchester Life has officially reversed the proposed parking fee increase following our collective pushback. This outcome confirms that residents can influence management decisions when we remain focused on fair treatment. I will be monitoring the upcoming billing cycle to ensure these changes are applied correctly for everyone.

Manchester Life are raising the parking costs from £95 to £110, having already raised it 46% in 3 years. During a cost of living crisis, and when the Sawmill Court car park was only recently unusable due to the shutter replacement, we strongly oppose this increase. For part of this year so far the car park was out of order, costing people money when they couldn't get to work, surely we should get a refund for these days?!

This increase is in place at Sawmill Court, Cottonfield Wharf, Weaver's Quay, and Smiths Yard.

Even if you don't require a car parking space, we hope you can join this cause, which equates to an extra £180 a year for residents.

Gate a Smithsyard left open for around 1 month- no SIA security or any alternative in place. This is not secure parking.

Smith's Yard car park was open (gate broken) for over a month rendering most people's insurance null and void (secure gated parking). No reduction in price at all. Also would like to hear an explanation/reasoning behind 15.7% increase yoy.

Manchester life sort this out, not only do you not have enough parking you are charging an extraordinary rate for it too

There has been no improvement or upgrades to the parking facilities at Weavers Quay to justify any increase, certainly not an increase of this level. At WEQ we have several people parking in the car park FOR FREE - why should tenants pay more when many aren’t paying at all? It’s absurd

Really insensitive considering the increasing struggle of cost of living and inferior crisis

An absolute disgrace during a cost of living crisis, when the car park hasn't even been fit for purpose for much of the year!
