I have been hearing so many stories from neighbors about how much our officers do to keep the streets safe. Losing this station would leave our most vulnerable residents feeling abandoned and without a place to turn for help.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one worried about the safety of our elderly neighbors. Knowing that so many of you value our local officers brings me a lot of hope for our streets.

The officers at this station have done a great job. Why mess with something that works? leave it alone.
This area is getting worse and they want to close the station? seriously? keep it open for everyone's safety.
Ridiculous to downgrade this. My mum is elderly and she feels way safer knowing the station is right there. dont take our services away!!
totally agree on this. crime is going to spike if they cut the active force here. keep our cops!
West Heidelberg needs more police not less. Stop trying to turn it into something else we really need the actual officers on the beat.

Keep the station open. We need local cops who actually know the neighborhood and the people living here. Taking them away is just asking for more trouble.
