We believe the swimming pool in Mount Dora should not be closed---or worse yet---filled in. The pool provides a healthy environment for people of all ages to exercise. In addition it provides a place for children to learn to swim which is critical in our state bordered with beaches and dotted with thousands of lakes, retention ponds and swimming pools. We believe the Mount Dora Pool is an essential asset contributing to the positive quality of life we expect from our community.
