Dear friends,
Show your support of our efforts to save the Francisville Pool! We're a grass-roots group of parents from the Fairmount and Francisville sections of Philadelphia working together to keep open our neighborhood pool. Please add your name to ours!
I spent the morning at the pool watching the neighborhood kids swim and it is impossible to imagine this place boarded up. Behind the scenes we are gathering documents to show how essential this space is for our community safety and health.

Seeing this kind of momentum reminds me that our neighbors care just as deeply about this pool as my own family does. This level of interest means the city has to pay attention to our movement now.

Seriously? The city has money for everything else but let the pool rot? Typical.

FIX THE POOL. It provides a safe place for kids to hang out instead of causing trouble in the streets.

Keep the pool open!! We need this place for the kids in the summer. It gets way too hot in the city to close it.
