I spent the entire morning staring at the old brewery site and honestly it just feels like everyone is rushing to flatten our history for these generic glass buildings that will probably be outdated in a decade anyway. People keep sending me notes about how much those structures mean to them so I am trying to figure out how to get someone from the council to actually pick up the phone for once.

Absolute joke how they just decide to bulldoze over local sites with zero say from the people actually living here.
My dad worked there for thirty years. Its part of our heritage and needs saving not replacing with another science park.
The brewery is iconic. Stop tearing down everything that makes this city what it is.
Keep our history. Far too much of newcastle is getting knocked down for these glass boxes nobody asked for.

so sad to see it go. please rethink this plan.
