I’m from Glasgow but I live in England. I come up regularly for the football and also meeting my brothers for a “pint”. We always meet in Tennents-the best and possibly only “real” pub in Byres Road area. It will be very sad if they alter the character of this place.
This bar is such an institution and is the soul of the west end. If this is given a modernisation, that rich history will be lost forever. The Philarmonic in Liverpool has just been granted listed status. Please don’t let this wonderful pub be homogenised.
Best pub in the west end as it is. Why change it? Look what happened to the Rubiyat!
This pub is a great Glasgow Landmark. A traditional pub ,well run and there are too few of these left
Please reconsider this decision. This is one of the few "real" pubs left in the West End. No piped music, no jangle of gaming machines and a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for everyone no matter what their age. MCS.

I live and work in London now but on my frequent visits back home, this was always my first port of call.
