Final supporters
Leeds City Council have taken the decision, without consultation of its users, to close all six of its leisure centre crèches on Friday 12 November, including Scott Hall Sports Centre crèche.
The crèche provide a safe, friendly and convenient environment for the under 5’s. It allows parents/carers of more than one child under 5 enrol their children in exercise classes such as swimming and gym-minis. It also allows parents/carers to build and maintain their own fitness of both body and mind which are essential to parenthood.
If the crèche is closed, many parents/carers will not be able to continue to take their children to classes, or indeed use the centre themselves. This will result in loss of revenue for the centre, which could ultimately fall into decline.
Please help us to persuade the council to vary its decision and to ensure that future provision can be made by signing and commenting below.

Total madness. They push us to be healthy then cut the very services that let parents actually go to the gym. Fix this.
Been using this creche for years. Staff are amazing and the kids love it. Such a massive shame for all the families here.
PLEASE keep it open!! Scott Hall is the only place I can go with my toddler while my older one is in class. DONT CLOSE IT!
Not consultation at all. Typical council just doing what they want without asking the regulars first.
This is ridiculous. How am I supposed to exercise without the creche? Most of us are just trying to keep fit for our kids.

My wife relies on this space to get an hour of sanity. Leeds council really dont think through these cuts do they
